Services Performed
- Customer approved labor for ignition coil/spark plug check and ignition coils if they are needed, left tail light socket and fog light for $1,511.30 at 12:05pm on 2/9/26 Customer approved addition of evap smoke test for total of $1,406.64 at 12:06pm on 2/11/26
- Customer was driving vehicle when it started to lose power. Vehicle would turn over but never started. Scanned vehicle and found signal faults for all ignition coils. Removed coils and spark plugs and found that a aftermarket "Amazon" brand was put in the vehicle. Replaced spark plugs and ignition coils. There are no further codes for this issue, however, vehicle still had trouble starting and running. This is most likely related to a fuel issue. Added good gas to vehicle due to vehicle being on "Reserve Fuel". No further starting issues at this time.
- Found that left rear "fog light" is out. Installed bulb and found that the light is lighting in its secondary function as a "brake light". This is most likely caused by a grounding issue in the bulb socket.
- Due to gas smell after filling, recommend to smoke test the evap system to verify if there is a leak in the gas tank.
- Smoke test revealed leak on top of the gas tank. Removed rear seats to access fuel pump area and found that the fuel pump seal/lock ring is not set right and is leaking. After replacement of seal and lock ring, smoke tested vehicle again, found no further leaks at this time.
